STARTING A WORKPLACE CAMPAIGN
When employees give through their place of employment, it builds morale and fosters team building. Employers who give their employees a chance to support Habitat for Humanity find that it increases employee satisfaction and helps recruit and retain talent.

- Choice – Employees can designate how they would like to have their donation used
- Convenience – Employees sign up annually and their gift is spread throughout the year, making it easier to give a larger gift.
- Confidence – Because Habitat for Humanity Fresno County is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations, all workplace giving donations to Habitat are tax-deductible. The deductions (removed after federal, state and FICA taxes) reduce net pay but do not affect gross income.
Two Ways to Give:
One-time gift: Employees give a one-time donation either through a giving by clicking here we can create a custom fundraising campaign for your company! Contact our donor support team at Info@HabitatFresno.Org to set up a custom company fundraising page.
Payroll deduction: Employees choose to have a specific amount automatically deducted from their paycheck for a designated number of pay periods. How it works: Employees complete payroll deduction pledge cards or complete an online form. To accommodate this request, Habitat partners with employers all over the U.S. to allow their employees the option of giving through the workplace.
Regular contributions from hardworking employees and their employers make a big impact over time by helping families build strength, stability and self-reliance through shelter.

Employers can join Habitat’s workplace giving program
The Gift that Builds is an opportunity for companies and their employees to get hands-on with their support for Habitat. This can be through volunteerism, donations and advocacy.

Join an existing workplace giving campaign
Each year thousands of employees are given the opportunity to direct a portion of their paycheck to the charities of their choice through workplace giving campaigns. You can help us serve more families in need of safe, affordable housing by directing your workplace contribution to Habitat.
Contact your employer to find out how to get involved in workplace giving or find out if your employer matches gifts to Habitat for Humanity.

United Way workplace campaigns
Habitat for Humanity International participates in several national United Way workplace campaigns, including those in San Francisco, Allegheny County (Pittsburgh area) and the National Capital Area Campaign in Washington, D.C. If your local United Way campaigns do not list Habitat, you can write us in as a designation on the pledge card along with our address: Habitat for Humanity – Sierra Vista Area, Inc. PO Box 1574, Sierra Vista, AZ 85636.
